Reports
Llais encourages and supports people to have a voice in the design, planning and delivery of NHS and social care services.
Share your feedback with us to let us know your experiences, and how you feel NHS and care services are getting on. Your feedback will help make a difference.
Our national reports set out what we have heard and what people think about services across Wales.
They WILL be about the things you have told us matter to you.
From 1 April 2023 Llais replaced the seven Community Health Councils who have represented the interests of people in the NHS in Wales for almost 50 years.
Our Plans & Priorities - October 2023 - March 2024
We started our work on 1 April 2023. We replaced the 7 Community Health Councils in Wales and the Board of Community Health Councils in Wales, and we picked up the things that the Community Health Councils were working on.
We have been continuing to support people and communities through our
engagement, involvement with service changes and our complaints advocacy
service. At the same time, we have been learning how to do things in ways that will support our duties and responsibilities, as one independent body.
Llais Powys - Report on What We Heard in Welshpool and Montgomery Locality
In Powys, there are 13 localities which are centred around the largest towns and their surrounding areas. These localities are used by the Regional Partnership Board, Local Authority and Local Health Board.
In Powys Llais, for our local-based engagement, we decided to mirror this approach and focus our activity around these same 13 localities. We piloted a period of engagement in the Welshpool and Montgomery locality during June 2023.
We searched for ways to engage with people of all ages and with different interests and to listen to their views about health and social care services.
This report outlines what we heard from people during this engagement activity.
