Reports

Llais encourages and supports people to have a voice in the design, planning and delivery of NHS and social care services.

Share your feedback with us to let us know your experiences, and how you feel NHS and care services are getting on. Your feedback will help make a difference.

Our national reports set out what we have heard and what people think about services across Wales.

They WILL be about the things you have told us matter to you.

Some of these reports were produced by Community Health Councils.

From 1 April 2023 Llais replaced the seven Community Health Councils who have represented the interests of people in the NHS in Wales for almost 50 years.

Letter of Designation as Accounting Officer for the Citizen Voice Body

The Principal Accounting Officer for the Welsh Ministers has delegated to me responsibility
for ensuring appropriate Accounting Officer designations are made in relation to Welsh
Government Arm’s Length Bodies (ALBs) who work in partnership with the Health and
Social Services Group of Welsh Government. As set out in paragraph 19(1) of Schedule 1
to the Health and Social Services (Quality and Engagement) (Wales) Act 2020 (the Act), the
role of Chief Executive of Llais is identified as encompassing the Accounting Officer
responsibilities.

Llais West Wales Response to Paediatric Services Public Consultation

We are writing to set out our recommendations following public consultation related to paediatric services and to provide a balanced commentary on the issues and themes that were identified.

We will continue to represent the views of the public through the next stages of this programme and continue to welcome comments and views from the public as we do so.
Llais attended each of the public consultation drop-in events and online events. We have also monitored social media comments where possible. We felt that the Health Board’s approach was very good and that public involvement in the early stages of design prior to consultation was meaningful.
