Reports
Llais encourages and supports people to have a voice in the design, planning and delivery of NHS and social care services.
Share your feedback with us to let us know your experiences, and how you feel NHS and care services are getting on. Your feedback will help make a difference.
Our national reports set out what we have heard and what people think about services across Wales.
They WILL be about the things you have told us matter to you.
From 1 April 2023 Llais replaced the seven Community Health Councils who have represented the interests of people in the NHS in Wales for almost 50 years.
Llais West Wales Engagement - Antioch Centre, Llanelli
From 20 May 2024, most blood test services for people who live in the Llanelli area will be provided from the Mass Vaccination Centre at Dafen, Llanelli.
Moving blood test services from Antioch Centre to Dafen is Health Board’s response to feedback from patients who have raised concerns about service in Llanelli. Patients have previously shared feedback on the lack of availability of parking, room for patients waiting for their appointment, and the length of waiting list.
The move to the Mass Vaccination Centre in Dafen is a temporary move, the long-term ambition will include moving the service to be part of the Pentre Awel development in 2025.
HDdUHB has arranged for 2 x drop in sessions and requested service users to complete paper and/or online survey by 26 June 2024.
West Wales Engagement - Dementia Awareness, Theatr Ffwrnes, Llanelli
Dementia Friendly Swansea invited Llais to attend their awareness training sessions at Theatr Ffwrness in order to raise the profile of Llais and to listen to carers' experiences within the health and social care sector.
Two sessions ran – one in the morning and one in the afternoon with 19 people attending in the morning and 18 in the afternoon. Most of the attendees were Hywel Dda or council staff with a few carers. These staff included social workers, physiotherapies, nurses and community connectors. I gave a short presentation to both groups and had the chance to promote Llais to staff that see clients/ patients daily.
Llais West Wales Engagement - Regency Hall Saundersfoot
Pembrokeshire Hub (Collaborative working between PAVS, Health Board and Pembrokeshire County Council) organised a number of roadshow events across the county in order to reach communities and showcase the different services available.
